Engine is one of only appr, 3200 original 750 F1 engines build by Ducati and is set up to run with 40mm Del Orto Carburetors. As much as i had hoped to restore this bike, which you see in the posted images, from this cafe racer condition back into an original Bimota DB1-SR, it is just not going to be feasible in the forseeable future. Offered for sale here is the engine, ONLY the complete engine, nothing else! According to the speedo that came with the bike the motor has 17.700km run. This engine was used in a street registered Bimota DB1-SR and has not been raced as far as i know. I can not confirm the stated mileage, other than that it turns over freely. The bike pictured has not run in years and i just dont have the time to spend to get it running again. Decent pictures is all i can really post here which show of how the engine sits in this DB1 frame, so if you have any additional questions please write.
